In order to improve students’ confidence and interest in speaking English, a drama workshop was organized for 1A students on 15th Jul, 2013. Students learnt the prerequisites of delivering good spoken English, they are called the ‘APE’: A stands for ‘Articulation’, P stands for ‘Projection’ and E stands for ‘Expressions’.
Students played interaction games with their group members and improved their spoken English by learning the appropriate use of intonation, stress and gestures. At the end of the workshop, each group performed a mini-drama for the hope of winning the ‘Best Actor/ Actress’ and the ‘Best Team’ awards. Congratulations to Carlos So, Chloe Tam, Kelvin Li, Anna Kwan, Crystal Lee and Yoyo Leung! Well done!
