Bandslam is coming to Lingnan Hang Yee!
Bandslam is a popular competition of bands that first started at secondary schools in America, and now it's at LINGNAN HANG YEE! Two months ago, students chose the members of their band, what kind of English music they wanted to play, and the costumes they would like to wear.
On 6 July 2012, six bands participated in the competition. There were pianos, keyboards, drums, saxophones, guitars, bass guitars and electric guitars. The atmosphere was so lively and all the students enjoyed a lot. The highlight of the show was the performance given by a band called 'Breaking Rules', formed by our former students.
The champion is Your Nightmare Our Dreams and the first runner-up is The SUETM.
All the students ROCK!!!
