English Speaking Day – Speaking Bee
Speak Hard, Speak with HEART …
Let’s do our best!
This is our second year to carry out this whole school English activity. Every Friday, we have English Speaking Day – Speaking Bee.
During recess or lunch hour, students are encouraged to take this opportunity to speak English with all teachers, both language and non-language teachers. There’s a topic suggested by the English teachers each week and students are also provided with some vocabulary that helps them to express themselves. In return for students’ positive participation, a gift coupon is awarded and students can use the coupon to purchase items in the Students’ Union. The value is minimal, yet the reward is huge.
