擔任嶺南衡怡紀念中學校長已邁入第三年，我仍滿懷感恩和盼望。承蒙上主引領，能與嶺南衡怡紀念中學一同迎來三十五週年校慶，既是殊榮，亦是使命。過去兩年，我見證老師們對教育的熱忱、同學們正向無懼的精神、校友薪火相傳的無私情懷，校董會的無限支持，以及家長風雨同行的信任。我們每個人，都是嶺南衡怡不可或缺的持份者。
三十五周年校慶，是「承前啟後」的莊嚴時刻。我們既要感恩過去三十五年所有同仁奠定的根基，更要激發當下每一位衡怡人的潛能，同時開啟邁向卓越的新篇章。以「衡星無限，怡家有情」為主題，校慶活動將凝聚全校力量：從校友重聚的溫馨盛宴，到展示學子才華的開放日；從服務社區的實踐，到展望未來的感恩崇拜。我們期待，這些時刻既能致敬前人耕耘，更能為現屆學生搭建閃耀的舞臺，讓整個衡怡大家庭在薪火相傳中，許下對未來的莊嚴承諾。
我們將延續優質教育初心，深化語文根基、傳承嶺南精神、培育追求卓越的精神、以基督的愛為根基，營造包容、關愛的成長家園。深信在校董會的領導下，在家長與校友的護持中，衡怡人必繼續昂首並肩，讓孩子如鷹展翅，在主的恩典中翱翔天際。
As I begin my third year as Principal of Lingnan Hang Yee Memorial Secondary School, each day renews my sense of gratitude and calling. This year holds special significance—guided by God’s providence, we celebrate our 35th anniversary, a sacred juncture to both reflect on our legacy and rekindle our shared vision.
These years have revealed to me the soul of our community: Teachers who nurture minds with unwavering devotion, students who dare to dream with fearless curiosity, alumni who light the way for generations, Council members whose wisdom steers our course, and parents who walk alongside us with steadfast trust. Together, you have woven the living tapestry of Lingnan’s education.
Our 35th anniversary is a sacred “trinity of time” – a moment to honor three decades of dedication, a spark to unleash the boundless potential within each Hang Yee member, and a launchpad for our next chapter of transformation. Under the theme “The sky’s the limit and there is no place like home.”, we will celebrate through reunions that reconnect generations, open days that showcase student brilliance, and service projects that radiate Christ’s love. More than nostalgia, these activities will forge our collective promise for 2025-2030—a covenant to uplift every child entrusted to our care. Moving forward, we reaffirm our core callings: a) To root students in bilingual excellence, equipping them as global citizens anchored in local values; b) to embody Lingnan’s spirit, where the pursuit of excellence meets compassionate character; to cultivate a Christ-centred haven where every soul is cherished.
With the support of our Council, parents, and alumni, I am confident our Lingnan community will soar on wings like eagles, embracing God’s blessings as we write our next chapter together.
