Our fencing team had an exchange event with the cricket team of Islamic Kasim Tuet Memorial College in our school hall on April 26, 2023.

The event began by presenting a souvenir pennant to their school by our Acting Principal Mr Kwong, followed by a group photo. Then our MCs 4B Leon Deng (our captain) and 2C Ally Tong introduced the programme of the day. The first activity was a quiz game hosted by 2A Ethan Mui and 3B Harris Choi. A number of general fencing related questions were asked and the cricket team members were eager to answer them. Next, 2C Ally Tong and 3B Shirley Ko gave a brief introduction to basic rules and manoeuvres of fencing (épée) like "lunge".

After that, it was time for them to practise these manoeuvres with some help from our team members. Finally, a quick fencing game was organised for them and they showed excitement and joy throughout the game. During the exchange event, interviews by campus TV and reporters of both schools were made so that this wonderful experience could be shared with the fellow-schoolmates of both schools. We hope that there will be more exchange events in the future!
